So on our third day.. We didn't have really any specific thing to do..
And yeah we also took some beers in the evening before..

So this is NOT what I looked like in the morning.

Well, after breakfast we decided to do some more horse riding.. This time also, we got different horses, I think they were old and a little bit lazy.. That didn't really bother because we all had our butts and legs / backs kind of worn out.
Our guide, this time was Manlai's nephew, maybe 14 years old, he  was really a much better rider than all of us together.. =) Normal for them, since they ride horses from as early as 4 years old..

This time we also just walked really slowly but firmly towards the nearest hill, we wanted to see what are the looks from the top.
After a long and steep climb we finally got there and the views were really amazing..

And even though there was very little sun.. The sight was awe inspiring.. This was to my left hand.. (North)

And this to my right hand.. (South)

So yeah, maybe you get a glimpse by looking at these pictures.. But I tell you the real thing was really something as you might see in my expression..

After feasting with this delight, we headed back to our horses that were still a little bit lower than we were..

Notice the kind of yellow carpet on the floor in the woods.. The woods here consist mainly of birch and leaf spruce, and this spruce sheds it's "leaves" for winter, so the ground is filled with zillions of soft spruce needles..
This was also one of the things I really liked about the Mongolian forest. With the vast amount of hills everywhere..

Here at last a picture of the Three Caballeros riding again..

This was really a fascinating experience for all of us, too bad it had to end already.
Later on this evening we headed back to Ulan Bator to Manlai's guesthouse.. Now we have to wait until next friday to get our China visas and then catch the next train to China. Hope that we can make it without breaking a nerve..
Of course we can!!  =)
