Okay so second day.. 25 September 2006.
We wake up after a good night's sleep, eat some breakfast.. Eggs, bread, jam, chocolate dressing and of course instant coffee..
Joni had spoken with Manlai our host, and he got to know about this monument on top of a hill..
We decided to go check it out, since it was told to be really nice. We took a walk to there, maybe one hour tops to get at the hill.. And this is what we saw.

Looks like a spaceship to me, but it was really awesome with a huge mosaic inside the 'ring'..

Also I forgot to mention that the sun was shining on a cloudless sky and it was really warm

After a long and admiring moment on top, we went back down grabbing some local food from a stand nearby, it was only 2,000 togrog (~ 2$) with lots of meat (maybe lamb), potato, lettuce, carrot, onion and pickels..
Very tasty!

So that was the nice things..
Later on the evening, we put our wise heads together with Pete and thought of going out for a beer to celebrate our first week travelling.. Joni said that he's tired and didn't want to come.. We decided to go even though and we went to this same Ih Mongol restaurant (same as yesterday) and took a pint there, of course we were there at 11 in the evening, so the place closed again at midnight.
We left the restaurant and started to move towards the night club across the street.
Between the two, is a sort of park where there ain't any street lights working (the distance between the two is some 200m), so we took a leak in the bushes and continued to the club.
Now some 20m before the entrance, three guys run towards us from behind and knock Pete on the back of his head making him fall on the ground. At the moment I realized what was happening, I kicked the nearest one hard on his side and started yelling really loud and showing my fists, then Pete got up and started also yelling like crazy  and waving his fists.. The guys fled away real fast..
After it was over, it took us a moment to realize what happened because it all happened so fast. They might have wanted to mug us and maybe they though that we were really drunk, or that I was a girl (because of my long hair).. Whatever they thought doesn't really matter, the important thing is that nothing happened and we learned a valuable lesson of staying alert wherever we are.. (we almost got to feel too cozy being here =)

Finally to say to this .. Whatever happens, happens for a reason!
Ans also a traveller's best companion is luck.
