Today, 05th October 2006, we were visiting some temples here in Ulan Bator.. First we went to the most touristic temple which has a 20m high buddha statue inside a building.. Really huge. Sorry but picture taking would have cost an extra 5$ so we went on being cheapskates.. Otherwise this temple area wasn't much to see..
We then went out to seek a local park, to sit and enjoy the sunshine, on our way there we found this other temple which was a museum at the same time. We went with Joni to check it out and although old and almost falling apart (at least looking like it) it was actually a very nice complex of buildings and stuff inside them..

Here's a view from outside the 'smaller' temple complex.

This was in front of the temple entrance.. Notice Joni going for a close up..

Once inside, the religious stuff seemed really interestingly stupefying looking..(excuse my spelling)

Yes, it is a deer's head covered with, i think it was cashmere clothing or something equally expensive..

After all this sightseeing, we sought for a real coffee, actually we had been looking for it since the morning, but next to this temple was Millie's Espresso where we found ourselves drinking real Good coffee.. I took a capuccino as always..

Later this evening, we went to some restaurant to grab a piece to eat..
We found this really nice place and immediatly upon sitting down, the waitress came pouring some tea for us..

We each took a different meal, and with the table having a spinnig center, we all ate each others meals..
Really good cuisine here!
